The basic process of liposuction involves dislodging fat deposits and then removing them via suction. A few different methods can break up fat deposits, including lasers and water pressure. VASER liposuction uses ultrasound, making it more gentle and precise than these other options. Ultrasound uses highly controlled sound waves that are easier on the body than laser or water pressure. The gentleness and high precision of VASER’s ultrasound technology make it an excellent choice for body sculpting.
Before beginning the procedure, we numb the treatment area. Next, we inject a saline solution. Dr. Welden then creates a small incision in your targeted area and inserts the ultrasound probes. Sonic waves heat up your fat cells while leaving the underlying tissue intact. Once hot and mixed with the saline solution, your fat can be easily removed through a canula. It does so by suctioning out the fat cells and solution all at once.
